2009 Fall - Christmas

There's no place better to spend a pretty fall day than Bauman's Farm in Woodburn, Oregon
(it's wonderful place to buy spring plants and flowers too).

My friend Tory Brokenshire made this felted bag at Menucha art camp fall 2009.

This is a favorite I make for Mandi's birthday.  Brownie-Caramel Cheesecake.

Suttle Lake Lodge changed from a ramshackle fun little place to go into this luxurious lodge.  We had fun on our 'Birthday Day Trip' rediscovering this little slice of heaven.

Corey proposed to Maryann in my office.

Deb and I celebrated our birthdays with a day spent visiting specialty fabric stores
in Portland.  Here's some of the beautiful tapestry's at Pendleton Woolen Mills.

Bittersweet.  Watching my friend's  (who passed away several years ago) daughter
sing like and angel at The Grotto during a Christmas program.  Melissa and I
were very touched to meet Amanda Jones again.  Special night..
Dad took me to see a childhood favorite. The 'House with the Wolf in the Window'
was a landmark I loved to drive past on our long country drives.  He took me past
it again during the Christmas season and the wolf (an albino taxidermied wolf) was
still in the window (close to, if not 40 years later)!
Toby loves to watch "boys" (dogs) on TV.
